Sunday Social


The accessories are never accessories.  That's just their name.  They are the outfit.  And we all know the mother of all accessories is the purse.

Today I'm linking up with Ashley and Neely for the Sunday Social.  I owe these ladies a huge thank you.  They do a lot of work to host this link up.

1. What is your favorite handbag you've ever owned?
About five years ago I owed a Coach handbag.  I loved that purse.  It was the first purse that I owned that was "worth money."  It was that purse that changed my view of designer handbags.  Because of that bag I made up my mind to invest in nice quality purses.

2. What is your dream handbag you lust over?
At a grand total of $1,700 this Louis Vuitton Retiro PM is anything but cheap.  But I have to say that I love the design.

3. What are the daily essentials in your purse or work bag?
Nude lip gloss, wallet, iPhone, and mascara...I'm a frequent crier.

4. What's in your purse (with pictures)?
Seriously!  I'm going to have to clean my purse out before I take any pictures!

      I carried that Coach until it was well worn and then I sold it in a garage sale for $20. It was such a great purse.

    I love your dream bag! I bought my LV bag when I went back to work after my son was born, so I've had it about 6 years and it has held up so well. Definitely worth the money!

    I love me a good purse! :-) Just cleaned mine out yesterday...it's an Elle slouch leather bag from Kohls, and probably the most expensive one I've ever purchased...but I adore it! Goes with everything, holds everything (as evidenced by the bag full of trash after said cleaning last night! Ha!). Stopping by from the hop! Nice to "meet" you :-)

    I am so with you on the LV. I find that if I invest in a nice bag, wallet or sunglasses I keep and enjoy them waaaaay longer than I do with the cheap stuff - so the investment is worth it to me. I am excited to be your newest blog follower :)

    for one, I'm super glad that someone else classifies themselves as a frequent crier. me too! high-five!! I too received a purse that totally changed my view of purses as well. I still have that purse and one other one and they are over 8 years old and still look amazing!! so glad to have found your blog.

      It's crazy how a single semi-luxury item changed my complete mindset on purchasing. It's about longevity.
